It's been a fun couple of months. We went to Vegas to visit my dad and a close friend of mine from high school. We had so much fun. It was so nice having Avalon see her Grandpa after so long. Last time she wasn't even crawling yet and now she's talking and walking. They had so much fun getting to know eachother again. And then playing with Amy's girls. It was so much fun visiting with them. It's been a long time. Then we went out to dinner. It felt like it hadn't been a long time. It was just like old times, laughing and talking. Just what I needed. Vegas definetly made Avalon another child. She became so much for outgoing. She would walk up to stangers and just smile at them until they would look at her and show off for them. So many different sights, sounds, experiences. Of course her favorite was the escalators. Now anytime she sees them she says, "Please?" Her least favorite, but my favortie to watch was when we went to the shark reef. In part of the floor there is a cut out where it's glass and the water and fish are under you. I stood in the middle of it and told Avalon to come here. She was happy to come to me until she got to the edge of the regular floor and then just kepted walking around and around trying to figure it out. Then she realized she didn't like it. It was pretty funny. When we got back we had my BFF bday dinner. I love that girl. Happy birthday Linds!!! She's not a fan of chocolate, but loves her red bulls so I got her a red bull with a candle in it. lol Then this month so far we went to the snow for Avalon's first time. I didn't have any snow gear and John went out and got my gloves and picked out pants and boots for me. He did such a great job. It was so nice. Then we went. Avalon LOVED going on the sled. She couldn't get enough. Walking in the snow however was so funny. She would walk for a little bit and then fall and just wait for one of us to help her. So moved like a robot in her snow gear. The funniest times are her frustrations. I know I'm mean, but I can't help it. It's hilarious. That's our lives so far. Grear memories.
