Avalon LOVES to read her book. She gets so mad when she turns the last page and the book closes. Then moves on, turns it back over, and reads it again. Her FAVORITE color is BLUE. Everytime she gets to that page she gets excited and puts her head on it. Her stackable rings she always takes all of them off to get to the blue one that's on the bottom. The next color she likes is GREEN (which is good because it is her last name. )

Sometimes Avalon does the silliest things.

Last weekend John and Sean rode their bikes in "Ride For A Reason." They did really well. They rode 19 miles and during those 19 miles they stop at different check points and played games to collect tickets for the giant raffle. Lindsay and her mom volunteered during the raffle and Avalon and I sat and watched. It was fun. I am so proud of the boys. It was for a great cause; Parkinson's Disease and Cancer Survivors. One guy came up and talked about his story a little bit with Parkinson's disease and it was so touching I got tears in my eyes. It's amazing how many people were there. Some people raised so much money. It was great to see everyone helping.

One day we went to the Sacramento Zoo. It was a lot of fun, but most of the animals were hiding because it was pretty hot. So after we went to La Bou acroos the street and then went to the park and had a picnic. Avalon loved watching all of the ducks go by.

We had a really fun 4th of July. We spent the day with John's family at a BBQ and then hung out with Lindsay and Sean and his family for the fireworks show at the Sunrise Mall. The best fireworks I have ever seen. They give you glasses that make the fireworks look bigger and better. It was trippy. Can you believe Avalon slept through the fireworks?

This is Avalon has been doing a lot this summer. We went jet skiing with her Auntie Lou Lou and her family and some of our other friends. Avalon had her own miniature jet ski. After a long day in the water and sun she got very tired and took a nap in her tent. She's also been swimming in the pool. She kicks her legs and paddles her little arms. For the first time last weekend she dunked her face in the water by herself and then kept doing it. She LOVES the water. She's our little Dory.
